Sailing with Larry

Last weekend, a friend from church, Larry, took a group of people out on his sailboat, the Kia Ora. (The boat name is Māori for “be well.") We met him at the Harbor Island Marina around noon and set sail for Blake Island. It’s about a two or three hour trip to the island which is a state park accessible only by boat or superhuman swimmers. Going outside in April around here will usually leave you wet, but we had an incredible day. It was 60 degrees with beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Thanks to Larry for an incredible afternoon on his boat! Photos are available in the gallery.
