Last winter, I wrote an application which captures images from the web at set intervals. It's available on codeplex.com if you're interested.
This has been running on my machine since December and I finally got around to making some videos out of them. They probably aren't terribly interesting, but I figured I should do something with all these files that are sitting on my machine. I'm going to keep the app running so I can do more videos in the future if I come up with better ideas.
