If you’re new and haven’t heard me blabber about Camp Ticawa in Maine, you can go read those posts. What you might not know is that the camp used to be the home of the famous early 1900s opera singer, Alice Nielsen. (Read more about her on Wikipedia.)
AndyC recently sent a scan of the October 1921 issue of Country Life where Alice had listed her home for rent or sale. The ad is included below but it’s a bit hard to read. Here’s what it says:
